Free kindergarten programs are available for all Victorian three- and four-year-old children.

Enrolment Process

Applications for kindergarten programs at Highmount Preschool are managed centrally by the City of Monash. Families can apply for either the three-year-old or four-year-old program through the Monash Council’s online system.

Enrolments close on 30 June in the year prior to your child starting kindergarten. Applications received before this date will be included in the allocation process.

How to Apply

Complete an online application form
Visit the City of Monash Kindergarten Enrolment page to access the online application system.
Submit your application
Complete the online form, and list Highmount Preschool as your preferred kindergarten.
Update your details if needed
You can log in at any time to check your application, update your information, or change your kindergarten preference. It is your responsibility to ensure your details remain correct and up to date.

Allocation of Places

Applications received by 30 June will be included in the allocation process conducted by Monash Council. Families will be notified of the outcome of their application once allocations are finalised.
